Please read carefully and if possible make copies and provide to your team players to make sure they are aware of all the rules and regulations.

Each match will be 60 minutes long for the regular games (two 30 min halves) & 70 minutes for the semi-final, followed by a 90 minutes final.

All games are open substitution.

All players are required to wear shin-guards and proper footgear. In the case were as teams facing each other are wearing similar color jerseys, ACSCA will provide Bibs for one of the teams.

The tournament will be Round Robin format. The winner will be decided by points; a win is 3 points and a tie is 1 point. In the event of a tie after all games played, the winning team will be determined by the number of goals scored in the tournament. If tied by goals, there will be penalty kicks

A list of players must be submitted before midnight July 20, 2012. Full names and signature of each player is required. No name changes are allowed once the tournament has begun unless there is a prior approval from the disciplinary committee.

If a player is caught registered or playing on 2 teams, the player will be disqualified for the rest of the tournament and the disciplinary committee will review the team’s position. Therefore, it is highly recommended that team managers relate this issue to players they approach for participation before they are signed onto the team rooster. Again, players caught registered and/or playing on two teams will be disqualified as the team faces some serious consequences decided upon by the Disciplinary Committee.

ACSCA will provide FIFA registered referees and linesmen for all games.

Three yellow cards in the tournament will result in an automatic next games suspension

Two yellow cards or 1 RED card in one game will result in a minimum next game suspension

Foul language in any dialect or obscene gestures will result in an automatic caution and possible ejection

NO players, coaches or spectators are allowed to touch or threaten any official under any circumstances. Violation of this rule will result in an automatic caution and possible ejection of a player or the team from the tournament. (following Disciplinary Committee review)

All cautions and ejections will be reviewed by the Disciplinary Committee in case further action is required

Alcohol is strictly forbidden on the grounds and its violation will result in disciplinary action. No player shall play under the influence of drugs or alcohol

ACSCA kindly request that all teams participate to clean the grounds during and at the end of each day. Full co-operation of team representatives required at all times during the tournament

The organizers are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur, before during or after the tournament

This is an open tournament. Please note that there are no restrictions on country, origin or race. Everyone is welcome to play.

All teams participating are required to register with the name of any African country, providing it has not been taken. For example if Surrey United registers under the country Cameroon, ACSCA will display their name as Cameroon (Surrey United).

The schedule is part of the rules and it will be signed by the team representative and respected.

New FIFA World Cup Rules apply: No elbowing, shouldering or bad double tackling allowed, referee will deal with this accordingly

A fight by any PLAYER OR TEAM in a game will result in disqualification and suspension of the next year’s tournament including a fine up to $500.00. Police will be notified immediately.
